Ted star Mark Wahlberg announced that he is collaborating with Flecha Azul to launch his own tequila brand. Flecha Azul was founded by entrepreneur Aron Marquez and Mexican PGA golfer Abraham Ancer. Mark Wahlberg claims that a lot tequila drinks nowadays are not as authentic as they claim to be and that Flecha Azul which was founded by two amazing guys who are young and likeminded does make the best.

Wahlberg claims that he wants to put his money where his mouth is and cut a big check while doing so. The husband of Rhea Durham added that he got involved with the brand to utilize all his resources. The collaboration will tap into that and make sure to utilize all their resources to make the brand as successful as it can be. The trio has made the deal during the global crisis, with Wahlberg inking the deal since last year as the principal investor of the brand. He even visited the brand’s distillery located in Jalisco, Mexico. The distillery has been owned and operated by some local family since 1840.

Wahlberg shared that when he met the two founders, Aron Marquez and Abraham Ancer, and tried their Flecha Azul, he knew that the what he have in his hands is special and something worth to invest on. Flecha Azul is handcrafted in the distillery in Jalisco from a 100% estate-grown Blue Weber Agave. The tequila they produce is extra premium which really does honor their Mexican roots. Wahlberg proudly shared their amazing product with rest of the world and he cannot wait for everyone to be able to try the tequila they made.

Flecha Azul is currently selling five variety of tequila such as Anejo, Blanco, Reposado, Extra Anejo and Cristalino. The drinks mentioned are now available in Texas, California, Georgia and Nevada. The tequila brand will be available across the country later this year. Wahlberg is aware that entering the market that is already occupied famous faces already like Rande Gerber and George Clooney. Even Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson recently launched his own tequila brand as well named Teremana tequila and famous supermodel Kendall Jenner from the Kardashian family also launched her own tequila line just recently named 818. Even though the market is already a crowded place, Wahlberg believes in their product and he is unfazed by the current competition.
