Jennifer Lawrence Admits To Making Crew Uncomfortable On Set Of Red Sparrow
Andrew Henderson Jennifer Lawrence made the crew of her upcoming movie Red Sparrow uncomfortable with her unabashed approach to nudity, the star claims.
According to The Sun, Lawrence was fine about shooting nude scenes for the movie but took it one step further by stripping off in between takes.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said, "Everybody made me feel so comfortable that I probably at a certain point started making everybody else uncomfortable. Because I'd be like, 'I don't want the robe. I'm hot. I'm eating.' Everybody's like, 'She needs to cover up'." Jennifer previously told media outlets that she felt extremely anxious when filming intimate scenes, but she acknowledges that her attitude toward that aspect of her career has changed. "I don't have the same fear and insecurity in that one specific area that I used to. So you know, I'm always gonna take on roles for the same reason. The character speaks to me and the director and the story. But I'm no longer gonna let that be a factor in my decision making."

The 27-year-old actress is currently one of Hollywood's most bankable stars, having been a part of some of the most successful movies of the past few years. However, her last film, psychological thriller Mother! divided critics and audiences alike, causing it to bomb at the Box Office. Some called it a masterpiece, while others called it a complete disaster. At the time, Lawrence was romantically involved with director Darren Aronofsky, but the pair split soon after the movie was released in theatres.
Red Sparrow is set to do a lot better than Mother! thanks in part to its well-known cast. Jeremy Irons and Joel Edgerton co-star alongside Lawrence, who plays the part of Dominkia Egorova, a Russian spy who happens to fall in love with one of her targets. The movie is in theatres from March 1st.
